Eimear gained her MSc in Occupational Therapy from the University of Cumbria in the UK, and her qualification is recognised by the regulating Health and Social Care Professional body (CORU). As an active member of the Association of Occupational Therapists Ireland (AOTI) and the AOTI Paediatric Advisory Group (PAG), Eimear stays informed on the latest developments in her field. With experience working in both public and private settings. Eimear has worked with children with a wide range of conditions. With a focus on continuous learning and improvement, Eimear has completed a variety of courses and training programs, including Sensory Integration Module 1, Psycho-Sensory Intervention Level 1, Sensory-enhanced Mindfulness-Based Yoga for Learning Environments, Children’s Yoga Teacher Training, Best Practice Assessments for Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), and Neurological Visual Impairments in Children. This training, along with a compassionate approach and a focus on evidence-based practice, allows Eimear to facilitate the children she works with to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
