Dr. Yasmin Ward Khan is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with fifteen years’ experience in the field of Psychology. She was awarded a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and Masters in Applied Psychology from Trinity College, Dublin, following her completion of a BA. Hons in Psychology from NUI Maynooth. She has worked with children, adults, couples, families, groups and staff members across a variety of settings including, psychiatry, psycho-oncology, community, public, rehabilitation and educational settings. Yasmin is passionate about utilizing acceptance and compassion to transform emotional distress. She integrates elements of evidence-based psychotherapies including schema therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, compassion focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness-based approaches to develop individualized, person centered interventions aimed at supporting people to create meaningful lives. Yasmin has completed Level 1 and 2 training in Gottmann Method Couples Therapy, and she uses the Gottmann Method in her couples therapy work.
