Sophie is a graduate of the MSc Speech and Language Therapy program at the University of Limerick. She has experience working in a wide variety of clinical settings, including paediatric primary care, paediatric disability, and adult disability. Sophie has experience working with a diverse range of clients groups including children and adults with developmental delays, learning difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, speech sound disorders, and language delays/disorders. She is formally trained in the assessment and management of Feeding, Eating, Drinking and Swallowing disorders. Sophie is a member of the regulatory body, the IASLT (Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists) and her qualification is recognised by the regulating Health and Social care Professional body (CORU). Sophie is passionate about providing client-centred care to all her clients, and prioritises the needs and concerns of her clients and families when developing and working towards goals in therapy. She understands the benefit of working on a multidisciplinary team, and often collaborates with other professionals in order to aid her clients in reaching their full potential.
