Dr. Meghan Slattery is an Educational Psychologist who completed her Doctorate in Educational Psychology at the University College of Dublin (UCD). She also completed an MSc in Psychological Science and a B.A in Psychology at the University of Limerick. She has worked with children, adolescents, families and educational staff across a variety of settings such as community care, health services, counselling and educational services. Meghan has extensive experience in assessment, screening and interventions for children presenting with a range of complex psychology needs, including neurodevelopmental differences, mental health difficulties, adverse child experiences, familial difficulties, and sensory dysregulation. Meghan’s work also includes comprehensive Autism assessments with adolescents and adults. Meghan’s child centred therapy integrates elements of evidence-based psychotherapies, including compassion focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches to develop individualised interventions through creativity and play. Meghan also works with parents and carers, offering parental support and guidance.
