Czara is a fully qualified Counselling Psychologist who has worked with people experiencing mental health difficulties or querying neurodiversity in varied primary care, community mental health, and educational settings. She has experience conducting individualised therapeutic interventions, facilitating group therapy, and conducting assessments. Czara completed her doctoral training in Counselling Psychology in Trinity College Dublin. She also obtained a Master of Arts in Applied Psychology (Mental Health) from University College Cork, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English Literature from Trinity College, Dublin. Czara is a keen research practitioner, and received the Allen Burke memorial prize in recognition of her research on experiences of the therapy space between transgender clients and therapists. Czara is passionate about cultural humility, intersectionality, and advocating for minoritised communities. She builds a safe and supportive space for clients to process their life experiences, situating therapy within the broader sociocultural context.
