Claire is a Counselling Psychologist and current Chartered Member of the PSI and the BPS. She completed a B.Sc. (Hons) in Psychology at the University of Glasgow, followed by a Postgraduate degree in Advanced Psychological Wellbeing at the University of Surrey, and finally a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at the University South Wales.   Claire’s Experience. Claire believes in using an evidence-based approaches based on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Person-Centred theories, grounded in humanistic principles. She aims to provide flexible and individualised care to each client with an emphasis on the therapeutic and working relationship.   Claire has a range of skills in psychological assessment, formulation, therapy, and research. As part of her work experience to date, she has worked for 3+ years as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner within NHS Primary Care. As part of her professional Doctorate training, while continuing to work in Primary Care, she also worked in some specialised hospital and community settings including Drug and Alcohol services, Bariatric and Weight Management services, and Child and Adolescent services.
