I’m Caoimhe, a graduate from Clinical Speech and Language studies, Trinity College Dublin. I have experience working in paediatric primary care, paediatric disability, school language classes, adult primary care and acute settings. I have experience working with those with Developmental Language Disorder, Autism, neurological disorders, genetic disorders as well as acute illness. I have been formally trained in the assessment and management of FEDS (feeding, eating, drinking, and swallowing) disorders and am a member of the regulatory body IASLT (Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists). My qualification is recognised by the regulating Health and Social care Professional body (CORU). I like to take a holistic approach to assessments and therapy and involve all aspects of the client’s life into their care including family, friends, and education.
