What is Low Mood Depression
Low Mood Depression is a disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest in everyday life. It affects how you feel, think and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems such as, performing normal everyday activities. In some case’s Depression may require long-term treatment.
Symptoms of Low Mood Depression
Symptoms of Low Mood Depression include:
- Feelings – Frequent feelings of sadness, anger, irritability, hopelessness, anxiety, restlessness, feeling detached from others, feeling like your watering “a mask”.
- Thoughts – Frequent thoughts about suicide, loss of interest in everyday activities, rumination.
- Body – Can cause somatic symptoms such as back pain and headaches and can affect appetite resulting in reduced appetite or excessive food cravings. Can also cause exhaustion and a lack of energy.
- Behaviour – Difficulty sleeping, excessive sleeping, difficulty concentrating, angry outbursts.
