This is delivered over two morning sessions 10am – 12.30 pm. This workshop is for parents and hopes to provide all with a knowledge of what emotional coaching is and how to be an emotional coach to your child/children.
Emotions supposed to be felt and we need them to survive however, in childhood they can be hard to understand and difficult to regulate. Emotional coaching is a parenting approach that is focused on helping children understand and react to their feelings in healthy ways. Research has found that emotional awareness and the ability to regulate your emotions is associated with increased levels of resilience, reduced behavioral problems and better academic achievement.
