Typically, these are completed when there’s concern about a child’s learning. For example; a child whom has a diagnosis of DCD and is not reaching their potential in school. This assessment can inform an application for assistive technology. Similarly, if there is a concern that a child is very bright and not being stimulated in school, then these assessments can be helpful to inform a differentiated curriculum.
